i got a new job, no more tropical smoothie...thank GOD. i work at kroger now, i actually like it for the most part... but they do dumb shit. like hiring new people EVERY SINGLE DAY but having hella employees complain about hours. but my issue -- i requested new years eve & day off & they put me on the schedule for just that. i`ve covered for other time & time again, been called in many a times at the last minute & showed up with no issue; but i ask for TWO days off, & it`s an issue? REALLY?

i honestly don`t really mind working new years. but i`m throwing a dinner party & i definitely plan on hitting up hella parties after that -- i don`t wanna work new years day. what, so i can drag myself into work hungover & still high? NAH. fuck that. i`m just gonna call in or something. i refuse to be used & not have anyone help me out when i need them. smh. its BULLSHIT.

& my parents --ugh. every since it snowed here, they`re OD. i understand, yes, there`s black ice on the roads.. but i definitely know how to drive on ice, how to control my car if it gets out of control...why are y`all TRIPPIN? this is day number 3 of me being stuck in the house. i hate relying on other people to pick me up & drop me off.. what the hell is the point of me having my license?

I began my natural hair journey a little over a month ago... i'm aiming towards this

& I'm sure I'll get there! I had amazing hair when I was younger (I'll try to dig up some pictures to add later] & after all of this DAMN relaxed hair is gone..I'll be back on board soon. But when I was washing and conditioning, a huge chunk in the back of my head broke off! I was DEVASTATED! but..at least its not noticeable. My bestie tells me I should get my hair straightened by some Dominicans... but I'm apprehensive. & then she tried to tell me heat's good for my hair. COME ON, B. lmao. GTFOH.
